About Torn
Torn is a text-based online RPG set in Torn City, a dark underworld where you can be anyone and do anything. Build your character your own way: train in the gyms, commit crimes, run a company, play the markets, travel, race, or join a faction and go to war.
It is a massively multiplayer game with thousands of active players around the world. It is free, carries no advertising, and never resets, so everything you build is yours to keep. It has been running since 2004 and plays on desktop, phone or tablet.
Why I recommend it
I highly recommend Torn. It is a great game with a great community, and the staff genuinely engage with the players.
